How to: Bind a report's control to data in a query or table.
Solution:
In the Report Design view, use the 'Control Source' property box in the property sheet of the report to bind a control to data in a query or table.
1) If the Database window is not active, activate the Database window.
2) Click the 'Reports' tab in the Database window.

3) Select the desired report from the list box. (The selected report is highlighted.)
4) Click 'Design'. (The selected report appears in the Design view, and the floating Toolbox appears.)
5) Click on the desired control to be bound to a table or query.
6) Select the 'View' menu and select 'Properties'.
7) Click the 'Data' tab.
8) Click on the 'Control Source' box. (A down arrow appears.)
9) Click down arrow. (A drop-down list appears.)
10) Select the field from the 'Control Source' drop-down list.
11) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Save' to save the report.
